Executive Director

     Veronica Chandler is a native of San Diego, California. She graduated from UNC - Chapel Hill where she majored in English and Comparative Literature with a concentration in Film Studies and a minor in Anthropology. 

     Veronica Chandler created Blue Plum Productions Inc. (BPP) to provide a space for young people to develop their artistic talents and storytelling skills.

     Ms. Chandler experienced, first-hand, the lack of art programming, when her public middle school art program budget was cut. Art classes became dependent upon student fundraising; and students struggled to collect cereal box tops, used ink cartridges, and similar redeemable items.

     BPP was created so that students in underserved public schools do not have to miss out on the benefits of art education, including the opportunity to have their voices heard.
